Diana Charlton LPC

I am  a professional counselor, licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.   I have experience doing both mental health  and addiction counseling.

My role as a counselor is to  provide honest and objective feedback.  Then,  help clients identify their options and create a plan to make the changes they want to make.

My passion is working with people who struggle with depression and anxiety due to low self-esteem, relationship issues, difficult childhoods, and recovery from addiction.  I actively listen to clients, provide respectful feedback, and offer suggestions for possible changes. I also help clients understand how their past affects their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I believe that some of us simply did not get the healthiest coping skill from our childhood or life experiences and that no one is broken, damaged or bad.  I help clients identify the changes they can make to improve their lives and teach them the skills needed to make those changes.  I also help them understand how they have learned the coping skills they already possess with the goal of helping people add to the coping skills they already have.

I am currently accepting new adult clients, 18 years and older.

I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.   I look forward to continuing to help people make their lives healthier and happier.
